In anticipation of the forthcoming announcement of the nominees for the 2nd annual Spinetingler Awards, we're giving readers a sneak peek at the nominees in the short story category, with links to the stories so that you can check them out for yourself.

The nominees in all categories should be announced within the next week. At that time, the online voting system will be available, allowing readers to pick their choice in each of the ten categories. Winners will be announced in early May.
