Joining Crime Zine Report

Crime Zine Report was born out of a discussion between myself and Daniel Hatadi, about how to keep Crimespace from being overrun with posts about new issues, writers with short stories published, authors featured in interviews, etc.

In my haste to get it running I overlooked something. Sure, I initially posted about the purpose of this site and how to sign on, but I didn't add a profile to the side bar keeping that information handy.

I remember thinking at the time that the original post was right there, and it made sense to write a profile after we knew how many sites would participate. However, I'm not long overdue for putting something up on a permanent basis.

If you have an ezine and would like to participate in posting here, please email me and tell me the name of your ezine, provide a link to it, and the email you have your blogger2 account set up on. I'll send you an invite and you'll have posting privileges.

I'm pleased to say that we have fine ezines from Europe, the US and Canada represented here. I remain personally convinced that what's good for one is good for all. Spreading awareness of other sites and exposing readers to a wider market is never a bad thing. As well, writers can find new venues to submit their work to.

I'd like to thank each editor who has signed on to participate. Over the coming months we'll look at how to expand the site and possibly include some interviews with ezine editors. Suggestions are most welcome, and if you know of ezines we haven't listed in our publishing venues please also feel free to email me.

And now, I'll turn my attention to writing something for the sidebar.

Cheers,
Sandra Ruttan
